There is so much to be grateful for, especially when it comes to food.

From today until next week, I plan to express gratitude for my meals every day with a small recognition, a prayer or a meditation before eating. I will thank the chicken who’s life was sacrificed for mine, the workers who harvested the green salad I will be eating… I will be grateful for the clean water I have available to me and the cutlery I have to eat with. I will give reverence to the friends joining me for a meal and
